Runner Up Social Impact & Sustainability Leader Award

For nearly a decade, I have dedicated my career to improving the health, happiness, and quality of life of older adults through an innovative approach that combines music, movement, and human connection. I founded InstruMix with a simple belief: wellness should be fun, engaging, and accessible to everyone, regardless of age or ability.

Today, InstruMix is helping combat one of society's greatest challenges—social isolation among older adults—while promoting physical activity, cognitive stimulation, emotional well-being. Rather than focusing on limitations, our program empowers participants to experience joy, confidence, and connection through shared musical experiences. Every class is designed so participants can succeed, creating an environment where everyone belongs.

Beyond the direct impact on seniors, I have expanded this mission by training instructors and organizations to deliver the program in their own communities, multiplying its reach and creating sustainable, long-term change. My goal has never been simply to build a business, but to create a movement that transforms the way we support healthy aging.

True social impact isn't measured by people reached, but by lives changed. Every smile, renewed purpose, and meaningful connection through InstruMix is lasting impact. I am honored to be considered for this award and remain committed to creating healthier, more connected communities through the universal language of music and movement.
