Winner Female Leader of the Year
Jane has demonstrated consistent success in leading teams and organizations through various challenges and achieving desired outcomes. An exceptional, knowledgeable, and inspirational role model, she is a Trailblazer of Note with more than 30 years in different leadership roles. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of CIAGOLSA, an 8-year organization that leads in PFM, she has introduced 4 qualifications adopted by the QCTO Board through Fasset, which are linked to internships, learnerships, and mentoring. She has fostered and developed young individuals to become future leaders and brought immense and significant impact to the SA Economy.
As a Board Chairperson of note, Jane has empowered her team through EmpowerHer and EmpowerHim programs. She has also produced more than 300 Internal Auditors from previously disadvantaged groups through the IAT Learnership, which leads to advancing to the academic level of MPhil IA. She established the first IA Shared Services at Local Government, and this also embedded the AC and RMC shared services models.
Her special recognition includes: IMFO Honorary and Lifetime, Veblen and Best Mentor 2nd Runner Up, Helping Hand, TOPCO Standard Bank 1st in Strategic Management; and Best Internal Auditor of the Year (Mentorship) Awards. As a Trailblazer, she is the first Chartered Internal Auditor in SA, the IMFO first Black Woman after 84 years, and the first Woman appointed to the AGSA Advisory Committee on Material Irregularities (ACMI). She is a CFE, CIA, CICP, and QIAL. Her collaborations include ICI in the USA, and she has delivered inspiring papers at International, National, and Local levels as a speaker of note.
