Runner Up Innovation Leadership Award
Corporate governance has traditionally lagged the risks it is meant to oversee, and nowhere is that gap wider than in AI. I built my work to close it.
Over two decades, I moved from leading large enterprise deals at Infosys, recognised with an Excellence Award, through CEO-partnered go-to-market strategy across ANZ/APAC, into a board-level practice spanning technology, cyber, and AI risk governance. That foundation is backed by an Academic Excellence Award, an MBA, and a B Tech in IT. I don't theorise about board oversight, I have sat on both sides of the table.
I have translated frameworks, the Companies Act 2013, SEBI LODR, RBI FREE-AI, and the DPDP Act, into practical guidance through two governance books, The Independent Director's Handbook: Compliance & Beyond and Governance 4.0, followed by a series on AI governance, enterprise risk, and ethical AI use, including When Your AI Agent Goes Rogue: A Director's Guide. I also founded The Boardroom Blueprint, a governance intelligence platform spanning a podcast, LinkedIn content, and published case studies.
Beyond my own practice, I want to use this platform to build a pathway introducing well-prepared, board-ready candidates to companies seeking fresh governance perspective, particularly on technology and AI risk, widening beyond familiar networks.
I should win this award because my work doesn't merely describe emerging risk, it equips boards to govern it. That is what innovation in governance leadership looks like.
